Since May we have been receiving support from the National Lottery Community Fund. This is enabling us to work with other charities and not-for-profit organisations like Freedom4Girls and Education Aid locally and across Leeds to support isolated families and people affected by the COVID-19 outbreak by distributing donations to those most in need.
We have joined Fall Into Place Theatre, Playful Leeds, Seagull Paint and LS14 Trust in a city wide project developing and distributing "Mini Play Boxes" as pictured. These focus on free play, sensory exploration and creative expression.
We have also worked with CA Spaces, Mafwa Theatre and Make My Play in identifying new resources and have been linking into the delivery of food parcels with Leeds Dads and Chapeltown Youth Development Trust to ensure these reach whoever needs them.
