We love celebrating brilliant people and organisations in Chapeltown and its vicinity and, at times like this, we sometimes need to reflect on our strengths, the people around us and recognise what we are proud of and grateful for.
With this in mind we are sharing a new project by CA Spaces. They are inviting people across Leeds 7 to say thank you to someone special and capture that person's superpower and face on a little bit of art hidden around the local area.
One of the first superheroes will be local to us - Heather Nelson and the BLACK HEALTH INITIATIVE - but no doubt you can think of lots of other people to recognise and champion. Get in touch with CA Spaces with your nominations and photos or drawings of those special people!
To take part just think of a LS7 Superstar, what makes them special and send a photo with your details to lovecaspaces@gmail.com, tag CA Spaces on social media or fill out a nomination form at the Chapel Allerton Co-op... the deadline is 20th January 2021!
