What We Stand For

Quality Child Care

From language and literacy development to social skills and creative expression, the children at Chapeltown Community Nursery are constantly being exposed to new activities and environments in which to thrive. We build on the strengths and interests of each child to help build a solid foundation where they can develop their futures, while also aiming to champion playful, healthy families in the Chapeltown community.

As a charity our fundraising and profits are directed into our charitable objectives:

- the provision of day care facilities for children

- stimulating their growth and development through play

- the provision of facilities for recreation and other leisure time occupation which will improve their conditions of life

- the fostering of good community relations.

Services

No hidden fees. Refundable £25 registration fee.  Flexible hours.
We are happy to talk through all support available for costs from tax credits to free childcare hours.

Flexible hours

Our hourly rate is £6.43 but we allow you to pick the hours of childcare you require. You can have the benefit of creating your own hours that suit your needs, rather than paying for set full or half days that you don't need.

Government Funded Hours

We are happy to offer places to those families looking to use either their 15 or 30 free hours of childcare provided by the government. Please get in touch if you would like more information about the options available to you.

Home-made meals

Our menu is full of freshly homemade meals that we tailor to any of your child's dietary needs. For children receiving free hours we ask for £2.50 per meal.

Tea time snack

We can provide a healthy tea-time snack tailored to your child's dietary needs. For children receiving free hours we ask for £0.50 per snack time.

"Our child loves it here, he asks "Is it a nursery day mum?" when he just has mummy day and he is a bit upset! He loves the food and refuses to leave until he's finished his tea. His reading has really started to progress, along with his general confidence. The staff really care about the children and are very supportive. We've recommended it to a friend already!"

We are always looking for ways to improve our offer to our community

As a community organisation, we want your support. This could be telling people about our nursery (which depends on word of mouth) or joining us as a volunteer or as a trustee ... but you can also make a donation! If you like the sound of what we plan to do and are able to, please make a donation online or contact us.
